FeedReader Overview
Below is a screenshot of FeedReader. On the left you can see all thee rss 'feeds' (links to websites' rss summary files) that you have input (or have come pre-installed) into your feed reader (aggregator). They have been organised into folders, which are used to categorise your rss feeds. The first folder here is 'News', the second one is 'Journals'. Highlighting any one of the feeds in the left frame will show you all that feed's headlines, with dates of publication, in the top right frame. In this example, we have highlighted 'Medscape Medical News headlines',and in the top right frame you can see all the new medical news headlines for Medscape that were published from the 17th to the 20th January.

Highlighting any of the headlines in the top right frame will show you the summary of that article in the bottom right frame, with a 'Read on' link, which will open the full article on the internet, should you decide you want to read more. In the above example, we have highlighted 'Inhaled Hypertonic Saline', which displays the summary for that article in the bottom right pane.
To access the different functionalities of FeedReader, you can use the items on the menu across the very top of the application, the toolbar buttons, or the right click menus from the folders, feeds or headlines.
